Introduction:  Now in its 25th year, PLI empowers church leaders for wider gospel influence. At PLI, ministry leaders, and their spouses if married, learn to lead how God created them to. Whether new to ministry or a more senior leader, PLI offers transformational leadership development that is designed to give participants the tools and skills to build healthy relationships, lead with influence, effectively navigate change and reignite their passion for ministry. In 2024, we will train over 10,000 leaders in 30 countries.


Position Summary:  This position reports to the Director of Donor Engagement and is responsible for managing a comprehensive campaign (launching in 2025) and providing administrative assistance for donor engagement. Key duties include volunteer management, campaign reporting, marketing, donor acknowledgement, and meeting and event coordination. (St. Louis or Chicago area preferred, remote with some travel. Approximately 20 hours/week)

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with campaign counsel, PLI staff, and direct volunteers on campaign assignments, schedules, functions.

  2. Oversee donor acknowledgement (email and mailed letters)

  3. Help prepare for and support campaign meetings, provide meeting minutes and track-follow-up assignments.

  4. Operate system for prospect management and planning

  5. Manage Donor Engagement/Campaign shared folders and CRM (Salesforce) recordkeeping 

  6. Oversee design and preparation of campaign materials, events and recognition programs

  7. Assist in preparation of campaign reports and evaluations

  8. Gather content for monthly Insider Update, e-news and social media

  9. Assist in preparing draft proposals for foundation and corporations

  10. Help plan and coordinate donor events

  11. Provide Zoom conference management

  12. Interact with PLI’s constituents on behalf of the organization as directed. 


Requirements

  • Strong technology skills; experience with Salesforce (or nonprofit CRM)

  • 5+ years development administrative experience, bachelor’s degree 

  • Able to travel
